For real estate
Automate inbound and outbound texting on your personal phone.
Your clients text your cell. That is where the deal actually happens — and it is the one place your CRM, your assistant and your brokerage cannot see. autoMessage syncs those conversations from the number your clients already have saved, so the thread stops living only in your pocket.

The problem is not texting. It's that the texting is invisible.
Every agent runs their client relationships out of Messages on their phone. Nobody types those conversations into a CRM, so four things quietly break:
- Deal history lives in a phone. The offer, the counter, the inspection date — all of it in a thread nobody else can open.
- When an agent leaves, the thread leaves. There is no handover, because the relationship was never anywhere but their handset.
- Your assistant is locked out. A TC cannot chase a signature or confirm a showing without you forwarding screenshots.
- Attribution breaks. The lead came from the CRM, the conversation happened on a phone, and nothing joins the two.
Why not just use a texting platform?
Because they all hand you a different number. Sendblue, Tuco, Linq Blue and the rest run Macs and Apple IDs in their own racks and rent you a line. That works for cold outbound, but it means your client gets a text from a number they have never seen, in a brand-new thread, while the five years of history sits in a different conversation on your phone.
Agents will not do that, and they are right not to. The number on your sign and your card is the asset.
Every other iMessage API lives in a rack. This one goes to the showing with you.
Pick up your phone mid-conversation and keep typing. Try that with a number someone rented you.
How it actually works
Apple delivers iMessage to every device signed in to your Apple ID — independently, not as a forward. So a blue-bubble thread genuinely exists on your iPhone and on your Mac at the same time. autoMessage installs a small connector on a Mac you already own and reads from there.
- Inbound. A client replies to your cell. It syncs to your dashboard, fires a webhook, and reaches your CRM or your AI assistant — without you touching anything.
- Outbound. Your CRM, a CSV upload, or an AI agent queues the message. It sends from your number and lands in the thread your client already has with you.
- Either direction, either device. Answer from your phone at a showing or from the dashboard at your desk. It is one thread.
Your 2FA codes stay private. Your lockbox codes don't.
Verification and one-time passcodes are redacted on your Mac before anything syncs — the cloud, the API and any connected AI tool only ever see a placeholder, and the real code stays in Messages on your device.
Physical access codes are deliberately left alone. "The lockbox code is 4521", "gate code: 5678" and the like pass through untouched, because your assistant needs to read them. We built that distinction after a real estate customer ran into it.
Connect it to what you already run
autoMessage exposes a REST API, webhooks, and an MCP server, so GoHighLevel, Salesforce, Make and anything else connect through them — and Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can read a thread and draft the reply in your voice, with you approving before it sends.
You set your own send limit in Settings and can change it whenever you like. Anything over it is queued and trickles out, not rejected. Messages are paced like a human types them rather than fired in a burst.
What you need
- A Mac that stays awake and signed in — any Apple computer you already own, including an older one left plugged in at the office. The app has a keep-awake setting.
- Your own Apple ID and the number your clients already text.
- For Android clients: Text Message Forwarding switched on for that Mac, on your iPhone.
Common questions
- Do my clients have to text a new number?
- No. That is the whole point. autoMessage runs on your own Apple ID and your own number, so your clients keep texting the cell number they already have saved. Hosted platforms hand you a number they provisioned, which means asking every client to start a new thread with a number they do not recognise.
- Can I still text from my iPhone?
- Yes, and it stays in sync. Apple delivers iMessage to every device signed in to your Apple ID, so a message you thumb out on your phone appears on the Mac too and syncs to your dashboard and CRM. A message sent through the API shows up in the same thread on your phone. You can answer from either one mid-conversation.
- Does my assistant or transaction coordinator get access?
- They can work the conversation through the dashboard or your CRM without holding your phone. Everything syncs to one place, so a TC can see where a deal stands and follow up without you forwarding screenshots.
- Will it hide lockbox and gate codes from my assistant?
- No. autoMessage redacts two-factor authentication codes before they ever leave your Mac, but physical access codes from real contacts — lockbox, gate, garage, alarm, keypad, building — are left alone, because your team needs to read those. We changed this specifically after a real estate customer hit it.
- What about Android clients?
- They work, with one setup step: turn on Text Message Forwarding on your iPhone (Settings → Apps → Messages → Text Message Forwarding) and enable your Mac. Without it, SMS replies from Android numbers reach your phone but never reach your Mac, so they will not sync.
- How many clients can I text in a day?
- You set the limit, in Settings, and you can change it any time. It starts at 50 new conversations in a rolling 24 hours. Hosted vendors cap you near that number and you cannot move it. Messages beyond your limit are queued and sent as slots free up, not rejected.
- What do I need to run it?
- A Mac that stays awake and signed in to your Apple ID. It can be any Apple computer you already own, including an older one left plugged in at the office — it does not need to be new. The app has a "keep computer awake" setting for exactly this.
